Morgan Roth, Chief Marketing Officer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), leads transformative marketing strategies driven by her personal connection to the neuromuscular disease (NMD) community. Her leadership has fueled MDA’s growth through multi-channel marketing and a shift from crisis-focused to mission-driven messaging, making the brand more relatable and empathetic to both internal teams and external audiences. Morgan has strategically leveraged influencer partnerships to expand MDA’s reach, including featuring ALS advocate Brooke Eby as the keynote speaker at MDA’s Scientific and Clinical Conference, which attracted new audiences and increased visibility. She also created the role of Vice President of Disability Outreach and Empowerment to strengthen MDA’s commitment to access and inclusion and actively hires individuals with NMDs to shape the organization’s narrative authentically. With over two decades of nonprofit communications experience, Morgan has held leadership roles at the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, the ALS Association, and the Association of Foundation Professionals. Her global experience includes overseeing communications at the American University of Beirut and The American University in Cairo, as well as advising development projects in Rwanda and Egypt.
