Laura Knebusch serves as Senior Vice President of CPG Marketing and Customer Experience at Georgia-Pacific, where she is responsible for transforming consumer relationships with the company’s brands. With over 16 years of experience at Georgia-Pacific, she has played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation across some of the company’s most iconic brands, including Angel Soft, Quilted Northern, Brawny, and Dixie. Under Laura’s leadership, Georgia-Pacific’s marketing team has grown to more than 80 professionals, and she has reimagined the company’s MarTech strategy by integrating traditional marketing with social media, consumer affairs, and commerce marketing, all supported by data and technology. A pioneer in retail media, Laura led Georgia-Pacific’s early adoption of this channel, which now represents over 40% of the company’s digital media spend. Laura and her team have also embraced AI, applying it to areas such as copywriting, SEO, and e-commerce content development. She is equally committed to fostering a culture of employee engagement and inclusivity within Georgia-Pacific. Through initiatives like the “Living Our Brands” program, she empowers her team to make consumer-centric decisions that drive brand performance. Laura also collaborates with organizations like ANA’s SeeHer and AIMM to implement best practices for diversity and inclusion within the company’s marketing efforts.
