Jo Cronk is the North America President of Whalar, where she has been the driving force behind the agency's explosive growth and transformation. Since joining in 2018, Jo has led Whalar’s US agency business to remarkable success, growing the team from 7 to 65 diverse and talented professionals. Her leadership has earned Whalar major clients like Amazon, Google, Estée Lauder, NFL, and Spotify, delivering over 1,000 high-impact campaigns. Jo’s ability to spot emerging opportunities and her commitment to creator empowerment are evident in her successful initiatives, such as co-leading Moby Ventures, which helps creators launch and scale brands. One standout success was the launch of Nami Matcha with creator Ashley Alexander, which sold out within 24 hours. Additionally, Jo spearheaded groundbreaking campaigns like DIRECTV’s “Familia Fuego” and “The Crib Around The Corner” creator houses, which elevated underrepresented voices. Jo’s work extends beyond client campaigns to her advocacy for diversity and inclusion, driving Whalar to invest significantly in diverse creators and initiatives. Under her leadership, the majority of brand collaboration budgets at Whalar have gone toward diverse creators.
