Sara Gramling has been at the helm of Magnolia Bakery's public relations and partnerships strategy for more than a decade, supporting the business’s evolution from bakery to brand. After 10-plus years of leading PR, the role of Partnerships was added to her title to match the company’s trajectory from a brick and mortar bakeshop to both a DTC online storefront and CPG brand in less than two years. Sara has brokered a number of impactful, omnichannel partnerships with sometimes-unexpected powerhouse brands that achieved tangible results and drove growth to their core business. For example, Monos partnered with Magnolia Bakery to release limited-edition colors inspired by its frostings – which turned into a permanent collection. BoySmells candle company launched a Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding candle with a special Smoked Banana Pudding candle, which sold out in less than two weeks. Finally, the bakery joined forces with fellow NYC icon Ess-a-Bagel to launch a banana pudding bagel on National Banana Pudding Day, which outsold its most popular bagel, lox.

Grew the company’s Instagram following by 3,000 users over the Ess-a-Bagel collab launch weekend – the most new followers gained from any partnership
