Jamari Douglas is Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications at Bermuda Tourism Authority, a leadership role he ascended to after joining the organization as an intern two decades ago. Among his successes are the "Find the Time You Lost" campaign, encouraging post-pandemic travel to Bermuda and resulting in a 25% increase in visitors – and recently the island was ranked #1 in the region by Conde Nast Traveler readers. Over the past 15 months, Jamari's leadership has been characterized by a series of groundbreaking initiatives that have propelled Bermuda’s visitors and online traction to new heights. Jamari's 3D billboards and glass truck activations for the "Lost Yet Found" campaign garnered widespread attention, providing an immersive experience showcasing Bermuda's beauty, attracting major news crews and engaging the public in various cities. His innovative event planning, including pink branded security bins at airports and activations in transportation hubs, elevated brand awareness and increased online traffic, has propelled Bermuda's marketing success and contributed to tangible business outcomes. Jamari is preparing to graduate with his MBA this December 2023, from New York University's Stern School of Business.
