Gigi Ganatra Duff has served as Vice President of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs at Nordstrom since 2017, supporting all corporate and consumer communications for Nordstrom, Inc. and driving the company's public affairs and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Upon joining the company, Gigi established a Corporate Social Responsibility that integrates within the broader PR organization to boost awareness of the company's social impact initiatives. One example is the annual Nordstrom and Shoes That Fit campaign; since 2010, Nordstrom and customers have provided more than 330,000 pairs of brand-new properly fitting athletic shoes to kids in the local communities where the company operates. With Gigi leading the charge, the last two years saw the campaign surpass its goal, and raise over $1 million each year. Gigi also supported the opening of the Nordstrom NYC Flagship in 2019, implementing a phased approach including relationship building with key executives through an intimate dinner series, and cultural partnerships with institutions like the Whitney Museum. In 2020, Gigi launched BEAUTYCYCLE at Nordstrom, a first-of-its-kind beauty take-back and recycling program that accepts all beauty brands of hard-to-recycle packaging to be recycled. With Gigi’s leadership, the program expanded to include Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores; to date, Nordstrom has collected more than 50 tons of beauty packaging to be recycled, marking its halfway tonnage goal. Prior to Nordstrom, Gigi was Vice President of Communications at HSNI, and eventually assumed responsibility for the direction of HSNi Cares, the philanthropic arm of the company.
