Eliza Voss
Vice President of Marketing
Aspen Chamber Resort Association
Eliza Voss is the Vice President of Marketing for the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA), the Destination Marketing Organization for the city of Aspen, Colorado. She has been part of the ACRA team since 2010, playing a pivotal role in the brand creative development, website redesigns, media placement, strategic planning and – most recently – the Aspen Destination Management Plan (ADMP). The 2023 Aspen Resident Sentiment survey shows the awareness of the ADMP/Aspen Destination Management Plan and how resident perception has shifted positively. Eliza spearheaded a significant shift at ACRA from focusing solely on external marketing to including resident engagement, aligning with a major trend in the tourism industry, and effectively initiated Aspen’s shift into sustainable tourism through award-winning initiatives. She created the successful "How To Aspen" campaign in response to a surge in new residents and backcountry accidents, educating visitors on responsible outdoor exploration. In 2020, Eliza collaborated with various organizations, including the U.S. Forest Service, to launch a reservation system for parking and shuttle services to the highly popular Maroon Bells Scenic Area in Colorado. Eliza achieved her Certified Destination Management Executive/CDME credential through Destinations International in 2023, the tourism industry's highest individual educational achievement.
