Claire Nance is an award-winning communications and marketing leader with over 15 years’ experience managing global communications campaigns in the US and Australia. As Head of Global Communications & Industry Marketing at Activision Blizzard, she leads all external communications for the video game publisher’s advertising business, including campaign development, media relations and corporate storytelling. She has been instrumental in shaping the conversation around in-game advertising, raising awareness and understanding on an often misunderstood subject matter through creative marcomms campaigns, industry thought leadership and advocacy. Clare has established herself as a visible presence at the company; she MC’s and runs the company’s annual internal offsite and was awarded the Activision Blizzard Heroes Award for Culture in 2021. Prior to Activision Blizzard, Claire was Director, Corporate Communications at IPG Mediabrands, served as Group Director of North 6th Agency’s B2B account group and held senior communications roles at News Corp.
