Christina Stejskal brings over 20 years of PR and communications experience to her role as Vice President of Global PR & Communications at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC). In this role, she oversees all external strategy, storytelling on the FMIC brands with mainstream media and influencers for both the core business, as well as the brand’s suite of digital products. Not only did she build the company’s PR team, but she has been instrumental in driving strategic communications on a global scale, elevating the brand’s global awareness and impact on music culture and making Fender more inclusive and accessible to new players. Her impactful campaigns, talent acquisition and role in revitalizing Fender as a legacy brand have significantly contributed to its growth and industry influence, fostering partnerships with artists like Billie Eilish, H.E.R. and Grace VanderWaal. Christina spearheads dozens of campaigns every year; highlights include Fender’s Beginner Hub equipping artists and creators with tailored instruments, and The American Vintage II Series campaign paying tribute to Fender's history. Internally, she initiated the creation of an LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG), and played a crucial role in launching an internship program providing aspiring professionals with hands-on experience and mentorship in the music industry. Prior to Fender, Christina served as an SVP at Dan Klores Communications (DKC), leading talent procurement and strategy for brands including King (Candy Crush), Gwen Stefani brands, Vevo, Delta, Clinique and ULTA Beauty.
