Charlotte Watson serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for OLAPLEX, leading teams across marketing, social media and communications in over 100 markets worldwide – a team she’s built out during her tenure at the brand. In less than two years, Charlotte has navigated the company through multiple product launches and brand campaigns including stewarding the team through COVID restrictions and critical business hurdles. Charlotte played a key role in initiating the first campaign addressing dupe culture through the ultimate dupe of all time; OLAPLEX launched its own dupe, OLADUPÉ 160, in response to TikTok creators posting content generating 30.4M views of the hashtag #OLAPLEXDUPE. The strategy generated significant interest among TikTokers eager to try the new product, only to discover later that OLADUPÉ was a creation of OLAPLEX itself. This year, Charlotte also spearheaded the marketing team that launched the first product outside of the hair care category, OLAPLEX LASHBOND Building Serum, with a robust campaign that consisted of PR, social media and marketing efforts that targeted both professional styling and consumer communities. Prior to joining OLAPLEX, Charlotte served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Hourglass Cosmetics and held senior leadership roles in marketing at global brands including Pandora, Michael Kors, Kurt Geiger, Links of London and Louis Vuitton.
