The Global Marketing Director is responsible for driving annual strategy and seasonal global marketing ideation and strategy across all consumer touchpoints for Women’s categories (handbags, ready to wear, footwear, accessories).  This position requires a global perspective on macro consumer trends to drive global strategy and execution the Women’s business; partners with business units to understand local trends that can localize these plans and drive growth in region.  Individual will act as the lead for global cross functional and business units on strategy, communication and execution of key initiatives within their scope. 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to...

-Develop impactful annual and seasonal global marketing strategies to add depth to the brand and change brand perception; develop annual category marketing plans for women’s to drive key product categories and initiatives. 

-Drive global seasonal women’s briefs to creative to ensure a singular brand message across touch points

--Identify consumer trends and insights as a springboard for creative ideation

--Build strong partnerships and relationships with internal cross functional (2D & 3D Creative Services, Digital Creative, Communications/PR, CRM, Social Media) to create global strategy and toolkit for each season

--Build seasonal media strategy and local toolkit with external agency

-Partner with local business units to localize global plans that will drive growth in region:

--Create seasonal planning strategies to drive global marketing initiatives across all touch points; work with BUs to localize accordingly

--Analyze marketing initiative performance against set objectives and KPIs to draw implications for future programs

-Analyze and drive global media performance across all mediums; manage global media agency relationship to drive KPIs and optimize media spend and performance


The accomplished individual will possess...

-Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7-9 years of relevant professional marketing experience

-Experience in global brand marketing, Fashion or Luxury preferred

-Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions

-Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, and follow-up skills

-Strong creative & analytical skills, ability to evaluate multi-source data and draw global trends

-Ability to build effective partnerships, mentor junior team members across the organization

-Strong organizational skills, timely delivery of projects

-Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and work against tight deadlines

-Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels

-Strong computer skills (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite) required
