JIH PR is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Freelance PR Consultant to support media outreach, pitch development, and strategic research. This role is ideal for someone with PR experience or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Commitment: Part-time, project-based

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and refine PR decks and pitch materials for review.
• Maintain and update media and industry contact lists.
• Assist with media outreach, including drafting pitches and, if appropriate, conducting outreach.
• Identify relevant media opportunities and trends.
• Conduct research on potential collaborators, including brands, fairs, and influencers.
• Perform competitor audits to identify industry trends and opportunities.
• Participate in weekly meetings to align on priorities and strategy.
• Provide end-of-week recaps summarizing key progress and next steps.

Requirements:

• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. Experience level will be commensurate with responsibilities.
• Strong writing, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to respond in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
• Based in the United States.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
