Role priorities:
- Safe guard and retain business of existing clients
- Project manage and deliver marquee activations in key US markets and beyond (New York, LA, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago and Texas)
- Lead a streamlined and effective team
- Establishing process for project / team administrative tasks, project budgets, accounting, client billing
- Establish a positive, dynamic working environment
- Support responses to RFP’s working closely with Account Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish process and infrastructure reporting directly to Account Director
- Serve as day-to-day leader for clients and project team
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to account team and sound counsel to clients
- Develop quality standards and ensure client satisfaction
- Identify and develop client growth opportunities
- Develop creative, results-driven marketing and public relations programs that help accomplish client’s overall objectives
- Create and deliver client presentations and plans
- Lead the communications strategy for clients the across print, online, broadcast and social media platforms
- Ideate on initiatives/partnerships that will secure coverage
- Managing the budget
Candidates must have 5+ years experience leading teams in the ideation, planning and delivery of cross channel marketing and public relations campaigns including media and influencer relations, experiential, social media and content development and budget management.
Requirements:
- Publicity driven with a keen sense of news and trends
- A network of national and key market local media - specifically in epicurean and spirits and a bonus to include sports and music
- Understanding of the North American media market across print, online and broadcast – understand what these outlets require from our brands and help master and craft unique pitches
- Excellent social media skills
- Team player with an ability to envision the big picture while focusing on the details
- Excellent written, verbal and diplomatic skills
- Strong organizational skills that allow for multitasking and meeting all deadlines
- Must be able to work quickly and effectively
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Manage account finances, develop accurate estimates and adhere to approved budgets
- Bachelor's Degree required
