The SOCIETY Group, a creative firm for power brokers and luxury real estate, is on the lookout for a bright and enthusiastic Public Relations Account Manager to join our New York team on a hybrid basis. You’ll work with high-profile clients to implement communications strategies, playing a key role in developing and executing integrated campaigns that maximize brand exposure across both traditional and new media, as well as through brand partnerships and events. This role will report to the CEO and will have the opportunity to grow within the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the supporting point of contact for key client accounts, providing exceptional white glove support.
- Network with relevant media contacts to foster and maintain strong relationships through regular meetings and communication.
- Execute communications plans, including outreach strategies, message development, event management, and effective pitching.
- Conduct competitive media research and analysis.
- Participate in crafting communication plans and exploring partnership opportunities.
- Assist with event logistics and production efforts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly media reports for clients.
- Build rapport and credibility with clients through transparent communication and expert advice.
- Monitor media coverage across clients and their competitors.
- Create high-quality internal and external communications content.
- Compile weekly client agendas for oversight.
- Proactively pitch story ideas to secure optimal editorial placements.
- Collaborate with senior team members to provide comprehensive support across all levels.
- Understand paid, owned, and earned media strategies, cultivating relationships with key influencers.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 1-2 years experience working with luxury brands, design, and luxury properties (developers) is essential.
- A solid understanding and ongoing interest in media relations and strategy.
- An effective communicator with a desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and someone who is confident in bringing creative ideas to team and client meetings.
- Highly organized, methodical, efficient, and proactive.- Strong writing prowess.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, ChatGPT, and other relevant softwares.
- A dedicated team player who is hardworking and enthusiastic.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base salary: $55,000/yr - $65,000/yr
