CURICH|WEISS, a public relations and social media agency, is seeking an intern interested in learning all aspects of the public relations field including: research and writing, planning and execution, measurement and evaluation. It's essential that applicants to this position have excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and are detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor all forms of media and compile reports under supervision
• Conduct research to create and analyze potential PR initiatives
• Draft press releases and other press materials as required
• Assist with mailings and production of PR materials
• Assist with set-up of event and coordinate event logistics as directed
• Compile contact lists, and create / update databases under supervision
• Strong communication skills and writing skills Solid understanding of social media
• Strict attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office suite apps as well as Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple tasks in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Responsive and flexible to a changing environment
