Battalion is looking to hire an Account Executive to work on a range of luxury and fashion clients. This candidate must have 2 years of agency PR experience, including in the menswear category, a genuine interest in fashion and luxury, and be a creative thinker with energy and enthusiasm.
Job Description:
-Work with senior management to develop annual communication programs
-Cultivate relationships with key media
-Draft media alerts, press releases, backgrounders and other press materials
-Craft and distribute pitches to appropriate editorial contacts, ability to secure placements
-Plan and organize special events
-Research and identify digital media opportunities
-Develop and manage influencer campaigns
-Supervise Junior Account Executives and interns
-Organized self-starter with ability to multi-task
-Strong attention to detail is a must
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proven project management skills
-Positive attitude, discreet and professional manner
-Preferred experience in marketing/communications industry and interest in the luxury/fashion industry is ideal
-Knowledge of industry events, trends and culture
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
