Job Description

As a PR Manager, you will have the benefit of working alongside ICA’s Fashion Department and will gain valuable experience leading larger projects and developing your public relations skills.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the fashion/lifestyle industry, hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to challenge themselves by taking on new projects which will reward them with a broader knowledge of media relations. A motivated work ethic, initiative, along with a drive to excel will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Act as point of contact for ICA Fashion/Lifestyle brands and clients
• Execute a robust Market coverage strategy on behalf of clients
• Manage account team to ensure all EDIT-related account work is moving forward
• Assist feature, launch and product pitching
• Assist development of strategies for clients alongside senior team members
• Disseminate relevant and timely pitches
• Manage special events
• Research for special projects
• Monitor Junior Manager on all tasks including but not limited to: client placements, market pitching, etc.
• Managing reporting process
• Assist in leading client calls

Requirements:

Prior experience is preferred in addition to the following skills:

• 4 years of relevant experience; preferably agency
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or marketing
• Knowledge of key online and print fashion and lifestyle publications
• Existing industry relationships across all media types: print, online, broadcast
• Proficient in Mac operating system and G Suite
• Strong communications skills (writing and verbal)
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines
• Strong collaborative skills while also remaining a strong self-starter
• Highly developed sense of organization, with great attention to detail
