DESCRIPTION:

The Position: Foxglove Communications is seeking an earnest and hardworking Account Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you’ll work closely alongside Account Executives, Supervisors, and Directors on a rapidly growing list of acclaimed hospitality clients that span hotels, bars, restaurants and culinary events across the country. In Philly, our roster includes best-in-class talent, organizations, and properties like Bastia, Ellen Yin and High Street Hospitality Group (a.kitchen, Fork, High Street, High Street Bakery, etc.), Levain Bakery, New June Bakery, Nok Suntaranon, and W Philadelphia. *Note: Candidates must be based in Philly. You will work hybrid (2x week in the Philly office, remote the rest of the week) but will be required to have on-site presence at select meetings, client establishments, and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft press kit materials, client bios, website copy, interview talking points, and curated pitches for review
  • Draft and organize call agendas, notes, account reports, and press clipsIndustry research of local media, relevant lifestyle + food magazines, online outlets and influencers
  • Closely monitor the news for client press as well as broader news and trends
  • Develop and maintain media lists
  • Assist with drafting and distributing pitches
  • Establish trusted relationships with peers and clients; create channels of communication to keep them informed
  • Coordinate product shipments/mailers
  • Draft lists, invitations and run-of-shows for events; support event logistics
  • Assist with general daily office and administrative duties
  • Occasional content creation for Foxglove’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
  • PR experience: 1-2 years PR agency experience or internship experience in a directly related field is a must
  • Experience with relevant industry software: Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides), MuckRack, Asana, etc.
  • General understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (past social experience is a plus)
  • Passion for hospitality and travel
  • Sense of urgency, ownership, and drive to get things done
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects
  • Strong time management skills
  • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
  • Committed to developing and maintaining beneficial media and agency relationships
  • Ability to occasionally work night/weekend hours
  • Willingness to visit clients and travel for company obligations
