Your Role:
The Account Executive role provides a strong foundation for our account teams and ensures that campaigns are run as efficiently and professionally as possible. As an Account Executive, you are the key support on the account, responsible for assisting the SAE’s, AS’s and AD’s throughout daily tasks. You will be included in a variety of meetings / events and given the chance to contribute creative ideas and experience the many different things that our industry has to offer.

- Approach practical tasks with a ‘make it happen’ attitude and explore all routes to deliver requests from your team
Job Description:
Media Management:
- Have a strong knowledge of media, especially in relation to the specific needs of your client
- Build and cultivate relationships with key media and maintain an extensive network
- Drive ongoing editorial coverage for clients, overseeing opportunities from initial sell in to final delivery
- Continually monitor media for all client coverage / articles of interest and flag / report to team and clients in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain media materials (e.g. press releases, media alerts, pitches, media lists, media updates, coverage recaps, etc.)
Campaign Execution:
- Support AE’s, SAE’s, AS’s and AD’s by managing day-to-day tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Assist in producing essential campaign materials alongside team
- Manage status reports and recaps to ensure that they are completed in a regular and timely fashion
Client Services:
- Work with team on handling client requests and communication promptly
- Flag anything that may be of interest to your team and client – competitor activity, news relating to brand ambassadors, media insights etc.
- Show genuine interest in your clients’ business and overarching industry
- Begin to develop a direct line of communication with clients through emails, status calls and/or in person
Creativity and Industry Insight:
- Finger on the pulse, culturally aware and connected
- Participate and offer ideas in brainstorms and group discussions
- Become immersed in the competitor landscape and creative industry
- Keep your team updated with any creative activity and industry news
Social and Digital:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of social media platforms and the digital landscape
- Develop an understanding of emerging technology and its potential use in PR and marketing
- Monitor both client and competitor channels on a regular basis
- Conduct research for client or new business campaigns where appropriate
- Manage the reporting process
Administrative Work:
- Take ownership of essential administrative tasks and deliver them to a high standard
- Develop clear and detailed recaps from all client calls highlighting all discussions and identifying next steps to share with the team
- Manage day-to-day team administration (e.g. status docs completed and shared before calls, all docs from clients saved on server, meeting rooms booked, etc.)
- Oversee all client administration (e.g. reporting, coverage documents, status reports, ensuring folders are kept well organized, etc.)
Requirements:
1+ Years at a Public Relations Agency minimum requirement; Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Public Relations, English or Marketing Strongly Preferred.
Key Brands
You will work with your teammates across 4 accounts within categories that may include Sports, Music/Entertainment, consumer tech, CPG, sprit/beverage and lifestyle brands.
Location / Travel
This role is New York City area based. It is mandatory to be working 2 full days in our Soho area office (9am - 6pm) every week.
Benefits
- Annual Salary is $50,000-$55,000, dependent upon years of experience.
- All employees receive up to 100% Coverage for Health Insurance: 50% Coverage for Dental
- Friday hours end at 3PM ET (all year round) and drop down to 1PM Summer Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day
