Six One Agency is looking for a Senior Account Supervisor to inspire and guide day-to-day creativity and strategy with clients in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle industry. The Senior Account Supervisor is responsible for leading their team in creating and driving strategies that yield top results for clients.
Responsibilities
● Lead day-to-day media relations and work effectively as a primary member of key beauty, wellness, and lifestyle account teams.
● Lead projects and collaborate with colleagues to advance the communications strategies for multiple high-profile client accounts
● Have strong media relationships in within the beauty and wellness media landscape
● Develop, implement, and oversee integrated campaigns that leverage public affairs, media relations, and digital tactics to reach key audiences and achieve client goals
● Write and edit persuasive external proposals and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
● Ensure up-to-date knowledge of client goals, strategies, and priorities
● Generate strategic communication plans for selected accounts to develop smart, fresh, and buzz-worthy ideas
● Handle client communications and continually raise the bar across all initiatives, press, influencer and experiential activations by running meetings and conference calls in a professional, educational and confident manner
● Maintain client relationship(s) and expectations; delivering top-notch assignments on time while managing project expectations
● Monitor media, beauty and general lifestyle trends; ensuring the team creates new strategies and pitch angles, and reports ever-changing landscapes to clients
● Mentor, lead and guide a team with a positive attitude and professional tone
● Organize and lead brainstorm/ideation sessions with internal team members
● 6+ years of progressive experience in beauty, wellness, and/or lifestyle PR, some or all in an agency setting
● At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in strategic communications, media relations, advocacy, journalism, or a related field
● Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities
● Proven supervisory and leadership skills
● Hands-on experience writing clear, interesting, effective press releases, media alerts, press pitches, and other materials
● Current understanding of social media platforms and an ability to increase brand awareness and generate press through this landscape
● Established relationships with long lead, short lead, and online editors in beauty and lifestyle sectors
● Enthusiastic about the beauty and wellness industry
