Six One Agency is looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to inspire and guide day-to-day creativity and strategy with clients in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle spaces. We are seeking a PR Coordinator who is based in Los Angeles.

- Lead projects and collaborate with colleagues to advance the communications strategies for beauty & wellness client accountsImplement integrated campaigns that leverage media relations, and digital tactics to reach key audiences and achieve client goals
- You'll be a key part of new business, both in voicing the brands you are passionate about taking on, as well as developing the proposals and concepts that win the hearts and minds of new partners
- You will have a finger on the pulse of the industry, ensuring we are creatively one-upping the competition with original campaign ideas, ownable moment ideation, and strategic insights
What you’ll do:
- You’ll develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, as well as with the members of the media influencers and influencers with whom you will regularly interact.
- You’ll support day-to-day administrative media relations by working effectively as a team member across key beauty, wellness, and lifestyle account teams.
- You’ll develop media angles, contribute to media strategy, and pitch ideas.
- You’ll track client and industry news, features, and product placements.You’ll manage and compile monthly client press reports and recaps.
- You’ll ensure detailed organization for clients, media, deadlines, and product requests.
- You’ll remain up-to-date with the latest beauty and wellness trends.
- As a strategic thinker, you will bring new ideas to the table and enjoy creative brainstorming.
- You’ll possess excellent verbal, presentation, and follow-up skills and be able to communicate quickly and clearly.
- You’ll develop and maintain rapport with cross-section media – beauty, regional press, socially conscious media, and online media.
- You’ll prepare client-facing PR materials, including pitch writing and drafting proposals.
- When required, you will facilitate sample distribution, including packaging, shipping, and tracking packages.
- You’ll demonstrate excellent judgment and the ability to solve problems on your own.
- You’ll pitch clients to media in television, print, online, podcasts, radio, and more.
- You’ll have the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and prioritize tasks to meet appropriate deadlines.
- You’ll handle incoming press requests.
- You'll continue to expand your PR & marketing expertise in media relations, corporate communications, and/or digitally-minded public relations

This position is 100% remote and full-time with opportunities for advancement and as well as performance bonuses.
Note: Six One is currently 100% remote, but the candidate for this role must reside in California for easy accessibility for in-person, on-the-ground beauty/wellness client activations.
