Seeking a part-time project manager, preferably based in New York, for a subscription-based art service launching Fall 2024.
The candidate must be self-motivated, extremely well-organized, and detail-oriented. The applicant must be able to multitask, take initiative, and problem-solve. They must be media savvy, have an editorial eye, and have the ability to prioritize in an enterprising environment.
Candidate should be knowledgeable about the visual arts industry—from art criticism to art market news. Similarly, they must have demonstrated some experience in email marketing and subscription services, as well as exceptional writing and editing skills.
The candidate needs to provide approximately 10-12 hours of freelance work per week, with a commitment of 2 hours/day, Monday through Friday (8-10am). The hourly rate is $50. This is a work-from-home opportunity with monthly in-person meetings, depending on the candidate's location. We value stability and long-term work relationships, and seek candidates whose professional goals align naturally with the agency values and those of its clients.
- Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in Fine Arts, Communications, or Journalism) preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in managing and executing email marketing campaigns or similar Some proficiency in data analysis
- Solid understanding of subscription models and a proficiency in email marketing and subscription platforms, CRM databases, and design software tools
- An energetic team player and self-starter while having the ability to thrive independently
- Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize
- Familiarity with media outlets covering art and culture
