Curate & Co. is looking for a Public Relations Manager to lead and execute public relations and influencer campaigns. We are looking for someone with proven media relations experience in public relations and a track record of landing meaningful press placements.
What we are looking for:
5 - 7 years of relevant public relations and influencer experience. Experience crafting thoughtful and impactful public relations and media strategies and campaigns.
You have strong client leadership experience.
You have strong relationships with local and national media contacts in food, beverage, lifestyle, travel, and hospitality.
You have personally landed coverage for brands and/or clients in top-tier publications.
You have experience developing, writing, and pitching creative press pitches that result in coverage.
You have a genuine interest and understanding of influencer relations, strategy, contract negotiations, and campaign evaluation.
Experience working in MuckRack.
You’re proactive and hungry - you act and suggest without needing to be explicitly told what to do. You bring fresh ideas and improvement processes to the table on a regular basis.
A love of writing and creative pitch copywriting.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are hyper-focused on making clients happy!
You can multi-task in your sleep and are not intimidated by handling tasks for multiple clients/accounts at once.
You thrive on organization and will be able to set your own deadlines.
An understanding of and passion for the food, restaurant, hospitality, travel, spirit, and wine industries and the brands that define the industry.
