RK Communications is currently seeking a VIP Account Manager, Fashion in its TriBeCa headquarters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience driving VIP placements and executing strategy. This position will report into RK c-'s founder and head of strategy.
RK Communications is an integrated communications agency representing brands inspired by the thrill. Our client work includes Hurley, RHODE, SIEDRES, EM on Holiday, and Brixton, among others.
Responsibilities
- Prove ability to drive at-once celebrity moments from street style to promo appearances, red carpet and beyond
- Oversee celebrity and influencer seeding across several clients
- Work in tandem with RK c-'s head of strategy to provide daily deliverables and insights to the company's portfolio of clients
- Established relationships with top tier talent, stylists and entertainment executives
- Convert celebrity moments into meaningful, effective press placements
- Oversee account team which includes a PR assistant and interns to prepare sample fulfillment, monthly reporting and seasonal strategy
- Ensure deliverables are met on a day-to-day basis to exceed client expectations
- Successful track record of effectively working in a fast paced, boutique agency environment
- Minimum 5 years fashion PR agency (or in-house equivalent) experience is a must with an emphasis on working on celebrity and influencer relations
- Excellent communications skills, among both internal team as well as with client accounts
- Outstanding relationships with VIP, stylists and entertainment media
- Proven ability to secure VIP and influencer coverage on a daily, monthly and weekly basis
- Record of developing and executing client campaigns, managing multiple accounts at once
- Keen understanding of a consumer-led approach to PR
- A firm understanding and distinct knowledge of the media and pop culture landscape
- Launchmetrics, Microsoft suite, Cision, Fashion Monitor expert is a must
