RockawayMore is seeking a Regional Senior Account Executive who resides in Orlando (Central Florida region) with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This teammate would be responsible for overseeing regional accounts with a team and would require occasional travel.

Work Location: Hybrid - Applicant to reside in Orlando/Central Florida region and available for occasional travel between Tampa and RockawayMore homebase in South Florida.

Candidates interested in a Senior Account Executive position at RockawayMore should meet the following qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, or related marketing field.
Six (6) plus years professional experience in public relations with a focus on culinary/hospitality.
Strong writing skills with a proven track record of producing high-quality material for accounts in a timely manner.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Thorough knowledge of local media publications, outlets and a general understanding of regional and national publications.
Desire and willingness to learn all major Florida, Southeast and U.S. regional markets (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Alexandria/D.C., etc.)
Hands-on events experience.
Effectively collaborate with upper management, senior-level and junior-level colleagues and interns.
Self-motivated and results driven.
This position requires superior management, organizational and multitasking skills.
Interest in learning social media and digital marketing.
Ability to travel between Florida and Southeast markets as needed (occasional).
Ability to travel for client meetings, events, TV shoots, photoshoots, festivals, etc.Ability to travel to other markets upon client requests.
Ability to work occasional evening or weekend media/client events.
Ability to perform core job duties that may include - on a regular basis - sitting, bending, stooping, and standing for lengthy periods of time.
High adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
Excellence in executing client strategies, managing client accounts, generating story ideas, securing media placements and achieving marketing goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with drafting and distributing round-up press releases for major holidays, themes and initiatives on behalf of the PR division, as well as clients.
Ensure client deliverables align within designated PR hours and budget.
Establish new editor and journalist relationships on behalf of the company.
Regional and local pitching for broadcast, print, radio and online.
Strategically grow the company database with corporate, media and preferred vendor contacts.
Properly manage use of editorial calendars.
Manage clipping and coverage reports.
Manage lists and maintain organization on hard drives and in software platforms.
Research and build media lists.Manage awards, accolades, and events lists.
Occasional travel required.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Established relationships with media organizations and journalists.
Experience with Muck Rack, Critical Mention, Google Docs, PR Newswire, Canva.
