We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Beauty and Lifestyle Intern to join our team at WhitPR. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of public relations, focusing specifically on beauty and lifestyle brands. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen interest in the beauty and lifestyle sectors, strong communication skills, and a creative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in the development and execution of PR strategies for beauty and lifestyle clients.
● Research and compile media lists, identifying key contacts in relevant industries.
● Draft press materials, including press releases, pitches, and media alerts.
● Monitor media coverage and track industry trends.
● Support the planning and execution of events, product launches, and press previews.
● Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.
● Collaborate with team members on creative initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
● Provide administrative support as needed.
● Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (communications, public relations, marketing, etc.).
● Passion for and knowledge of the beauty and lifestyle industries.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Proficient in Google Office Suite and familiar with media monitoring tools.
● Creative thinker with a proactive and positive attitude.
