Description:

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing an industry-leading 360° marketing strategy to help support and deliver against BYREDO business objectives in the Americas. You will also develop best-in-class marketing and communications strategies to support and achieve business objectives in the region. Meet growth targets and contribute to overall brand goals across fragrance, makeup and ByProduct categories. This person will act as an extension of Global Brand Marketing to execute the brand vision consistently, to drive awareness, engagement and conversion across all channels: retail, wholesale, ecommerce and amenities You will then communicate these plans effectively to all relevant internal teams. This position is great for someone who is both analytical and creative.

What you will get to do:

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Senior Marketing Director to develop and lead 360 plans for seasonal product launches, campaigns and evergreen opportunities

- Manage and mentor trade marketing team (wholesale/retail managers), acting as trusted resource for information and development

- Partner closely with Global Marketing and Global Communications, advocating for local needs and managing all deliverables (i.e. local briefs, requests, recaps, budget, forecasting, and other levers to ensure health of the business).

- Partner with Retail and Ecommerce teams to develop a winning DTC marketing strategy, driving consumer desirability and ensuring an elevated brand experience (including campaign execution, events, new store openings, partnerships, CRM/CTA, education, VM, POSM & OOH).

- Partner with Wholesale team to craft and execute a winning marketing strategy for all distribution channels, including co-op management (digital, social, print, visualization), events, launch cadence, assortment, sampling campaigns, new counter openings).

- Plan bi-annual retailer market meeting and strategy summits (including leading post market initiatives on behalf of marketing)

Strategy and Analysis:

- Partner with Senior Marketing Director to develop and lead 360 plans for seasonal product launches, campaigns and evergreen opportunities.

- Plan bi-annual retailer market meeting and strategy summits (including leading post market initiatives on behalf of marketing).

- Lead cross functional teamwork in all business endeavors, including events, visual merchandising, forecast/planning, media, PR, and e-retail.

- Develop key presentations and briefs to support alignment of region marketing strategy, ensuring successful and impactful launches (such as monthly brand review, recaps, budget).

- Lead proposals, brainstorm sessions and execution of 360 brand marketing, communications and community activations.

- Lead gifting, influence, and partnership strategy between PR and Talent agency, including briefs, KPI oversight, Lefty, event planning and product closet.

- Develop and manage marketing budget, including POSM, brand & trade initiatives, expenses and gifting.

- Lead execution of media strategic plans and buys for paid channels in the Americas.

- Manage and oversee BYREDO amenity program.

- Lead execution of CRM brand strategy, collecting data & engaging new audiences.

- Support forecasting process, working with demand planning, supply chain and distribution teams to monitor performance, budget and phase orders.

- Stay up to date on luxury and beauty trends, acting as champion for change and success.

- Lead proposals, brainstorm sessions and execution of 360 brand marketing, communications and community activations.

Collaboration:

- Manage relationships and project management with agencies and third-party partners (PR, Talent, Amenities, Media & OOH)

- Partner closely with Global Marketing and Global Communications, advocating for local needs and managing all deliverables (i.e. local briefs, requests, recaps, budget, forecasting, and other levers to ensure health of the business).

Requirements:

- 7-8+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably within the niche/prestige fragrance and luxury beauty industry

- Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and industry trends

- Omnichannel focus and orientation in approach to business prioritiesStrong analytical skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- You are a self-starter with passion, flexibility and a keen eye for detail

- Proven accountability for end-to-end project management

Compensation:

As required by the New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position is between $115,000- $125,000 annually. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
