The role of the Account Supervisor is essential to internal and external, client-facing PR functions.

- Operates day-to-day account work independently or with reports.

- Strong leadership presence in account work--proactive and strategic media relations for clients, can manage some strategy.

- Draft agendas and notes and other written materials that need no editing with no items missed.

- Primary notetaker in all client meetings

- Coordinate and schedule meetings proactively

- Update media lists and proactively look for new reporters and publications to add.

- Effectively and frequently pitches by phone as well as email secures strategic and targeted top-tier placements with ease.

- Bring media leads into the firm.

- Conduct research, as needed.

- Monitor media for clients.

- Proactively work buddy list

- Draft press releases and pitches and other written materials that need no edits.

- Comes up with trend story ideas for clients and writes strong pitches.

- Ability to send e-blasts quickly and efficiently.

- Helps junior staff with questions and edits.

- Be a leading presence on account interaction. 

- Contributes to meetings ensuring meeting materials are prepared, available and organized, and able to advise clients on the spot.

- Oversee client clips are sent on time for digital and print press placements.

- Monitor media for clients.

- Organized and on top of the to-do list, meets and manages deadlines.

- Contributes to our social media for reports.

- Manage publication subscriptions.

- Proactively come up with ideas for account work and suggest next steps for clients.

- PR and social media ideas for Relevance New York (treating us like a client)

- Reads industry and consumer publications we pitch.

- Keeps drive and all digital assets organized and neat.

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $95,750/yr

- Workday begins at 9 am Monday through Friday. 


- Bachelor’s degree – Public Relations, Communications or Related Degree

- 4-6 years relevant experience
