- Provide essential public relations support to assigned clientele; responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing client programs and activities
- Partner with Principal and Account Director on the creation of PR plans for DPR clients that align with client’s brand initiatives and goals
- Assist with client relations through overseeing day-to-day activities with support of account team
- Support daily activities for designated national, regional, and local luxury lifestyle clients
- Understand and prioritizes the objectives of each client; anticipates client needs in advance
- Manage flow of editorial pitches (both local and national, and industry influencers) and press materials
- Brainstorm new, fresh story angles and proactively pitches them to relevant media
- Foster relationships with national press, long lead magazines and key dailies and blogs
- Maintain Droese Public Relations database of VIP stylists, celebrities, publicists, managers, socials and industry heads
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and social media influencers and has a strong awareness of the content belonging to each
- Work with national editorial and stylists on celebrity seeding + celebrity editorial placements on behalf of DPR clients
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends to provide recommendations to client about how social media channels can best be used
- Stay apprised of current industry news and trends
- Develop and manage VIP (celebrity and digital influencers) strategies and seeding projects on behalf of DPR clients
- Oversee client services while acting as a liaison between DPR brands and DPR clients
- Research and reporting on industry trends on behalf of DPR clients
- Manage account teams to ensure the preparing monthly updates and clip reports on behalf of DPR clients
- Oversee and maintain robust and proactive account activity, using current PR plan as a framework
- Direct majority of all pitching for the client including strategizing on larger scale editorial opportunities; continuously updating and monitoring status reports to ensure pitching efforts are on track
- Independently manage several junior team members across accounts, under the direction of the Account Director
- Research and execution of potential partnership opportunities
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience working with national press outlets
- At least 3+ years managing an account team
- A strong pulse on what is happening in the national and local luxury lifestyle space with strong relationships
- An ability to initiate, drive, and client projects from start to finish
- Superior communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with and advise high-level and C-Suite executive clients
- Strong writing and media relations skills with proven program results in print and online outlets
- Established national media and influencer contacts in the design, travel, and lifestyle press and has the skills to cultivate new relationships
- Ability to self-manage, show strong initiative, prioritize, and decipher urgent items
- Keen attention to detail; is poised, solutions-oriented with a “can-do” attitude; is creative, enjoys autonomy, and can work in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for helping lead and teach others on the team
- Relevant skills to develop and execute results-driven and creative PR plans
- Ability to guide clients on strategy and articulate ideas to garner results
- A proven track record pitching media and securing quality media results
- The desire to network, grow with the agency and possess a love for the industry
- Working knowledge of social media tools regularly and has experience integrating social media into public relations programs
- VIP/Celebrity/Influencer seeding experience, a plus
