PULL Public Relations, a rapidly growing full-service fashion and beauty creative agency based in LA, is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 1-3 years of experience managing events and creative projects, and is a high-energy go-getter with a passion for fashion and beauty.
This position is a unique opportunity for an individual to bring their individual perspective and creativity to our diverse client roster that includes both small businesses and multi-million dollar brands. We are a young business, and the right candidate can be part of growing PULL Public Relations from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the marketing vision, strategy, planning, and execution of client events
- Communicating with clients and internal teams to develop and execute events that align with client goals
- Oversee all pre-event and post-event communications and marketing initiatives and deliverables
- Strong management of third-party relationships including sourcing, negotiating and contracting with vendors and agencies
- Building out event extensive proposal decks and presenting to clients
- Tracking the budget to ensure they are managed
- Day-of-event production and managing vendors and teams to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Identifying and pitching potential brand partners to help supplement client budgets
- Ensuring all internal proposal documents and vendor lists are consistently updated and expanded on
- Coming up with creative mailers and PR packages that drive social postings, along with executing them from start to finish
- Competitor research and staying up-to-date on current marketing event trends
- At slower periods, coming up with event proposals to pitch to prospective clients and brands to further drive profit
- 1-3 years of experience in event production
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to successfully multiple projects through completion
- Experience producing events that drive organic social media content
- An understanding of the budget, and how to put together events within all budget ranges
- Experience with creating event presentations and pitch decks for events
- A keen eye for branding, esthetic, and trends
- The ability to be creative and think outside of the box
- Being a self-starter and creating opportunities for brands that drive company profit
- Availability to work nights or weekends, as needed
