Based in our Hermosa Beach office, the Account Coordinator position will assist with 3-6 client accounts at a given time. They will report directly to the Account Executives and the President. The position works with all areas of public relations, and performs as a resource to both clients and staff. They have experience with creating pitches, facilitating research, writing press releases, and balancing multiple projects at once.

Relevant experience in all levels of public relations is preferred; experience in or a passion for the lifestyle industries is a must. Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of public relations experience (can be internships) and excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, as well as complete confidence in managing client communications, both written and verbal. Superior candidates possess the ability to manage 3-6 client accounts as well as concept, execute, and report on various relevant social media, influencer and brand partnerships/activations. BLND seeks candidates with natural charisma and a knack for collaborating.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of public relations or marketing campaign management, editorial, content creation.
Energy, and enthusiasm for public relations. Detailed knowledge and a passion for media.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail, able to shift tone and messaging depending on the client.
Expert understanding of how brands should participate in the media in an authentic way.
Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications or related field is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Cision, HARO and/or other public relations tools and software a plus.
Photography and editing experience a plus.
Experience using graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Gain, or Adobe InDesign a plus.
