We are hiring for an exciting and unique public relations role that is central to our company’s core, as it touches storytelling in every aspect of how we live, work and play – from food & beverage to retail to architecture and design.We are looking for a Public Relations Director to serve as the day-to-day lead and thought partner for a portfolio of clients who are redefining the way we interact with every aspect of our environment.
Note: This position is hybrid and based in either our Washington, D.C. or New York City office.

You Will:
Develop and drive communications strategy for a range of clients, securing meaningful coverage that builds awareness and encourages engagement
Come in with strong relationships with key industry press
Lead a team that is responsible for proactive media outreach, draft press releases, media briefings, messaging documents, coverage reports and communications plans
Manage and mentor a great team
Qualifications:
8+ years of public relations agency experience specializing in retail or commercial real estate (experience in B2B is a plus)
Extensive experience managing multiple client accounts and direct reports
A love of news, strong media relationships and a comprehensive understanding of the media cycle and media’s needs
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as organizational and planning skills
Ability to independently manage multiple projects and clients and meet deadlines in an agency environment
