Description:

We are Rachel Harrison Communications (RHC), a creative communications agency headquartered in New York with offices in Los Angeles and London. We specialize in PR, social media management, and content creation for destinations, hotels, restaurants, bars, and spirits.

Our digital team in New York is looking for a Junior Creative with 1-2 years of experience (internships included) that can help us with full-service social media management, graphic design, photography, social video creation, and more. We work on a hybrid model, meaning that you can collaborate with the team in our Tribeca office with the flexibility of working from home two days a week.

We’re looking to fill one role for our travel team, which handles social media for boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and everything in between – from New York to Nantucket to Hawaii.

We’re also looking to fill one role for our spirits team, which handles social media for brands ranging from cider to herbal liqueur to tequila.

We’re looking for someone who would like to assist us with:

- Designing graphics for our client’s social media channels, including Instagram stories, blog header images, and more.

- Visually planning monthly Instagram feeds for our clients.

- Crafting social media captions and community responses in our clients’ tone/voice.

- Pitching creative content ideas internally and assisting with developing posts for our clients’ content calendars.

- Helping out at photoshoots, including styling product shots, prop sourcing, photoshoot planning, and overall creative direction.

- Helping with the filming and editing of Instagram Reels.

- Assisting with scheduling social media posts, keeping assets organized on Dropbox, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree. Ideally, in marketing, advertising, or graphic design.

- Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop.

- Experience using video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.) is a major plus.

- Experience using social media scheduler and analytics tools.

- 1-2 years of social media management experience (internship experience included).

- 1-2 years of social media copywriting experience is a major plus.

- 1-2 years of professional photography experience is a major plus.
