We dream up creative ideas to keep our clients top of mind – and we make sure those creative ideas are seen and heard.

We are looking for a Senior Account Director to join Rachel Harrison Communications. Senior Account Directors are seasoned leaders with strong media skills. This person should have a deep-rooted understanding of the media landscape and experience managing account teams. Senior Account Directors have managed client relationships at the highest level, providing council and guidance when needed. Senior Account Directors lead business encompassing media relations, strategy creation and execution, creative writing and creative brainstorming. They are involved in new business acquisition, working closely with the agency founders on appropriate business targets, outreach, proposal writing and onboarding. This person is also the most senior person in the office and available to all teams for guidance and support.

Responsibilities:

· Provide oversight and direction to account teams on all client needs

· Successfully pitch stories and meet with/manage media to deliver high quality results.

· Serve as senior advisor to clients on a regular basis

· Delegate effectively, setting clear expectations and deadlines to account team members.

· Manage quality of work on multiple accounts with professionalism and support team leaders.

· Key leadership role on new business acquisition planning with agency partners including research, proposal writing and onboarding.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of experience in public relations; agency preferred

· Ability to manage multiple accounts with ease and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure.

· Excellent organizational and project management skills

· Creative writer with extensive experience crafting impactful new business proposals

· Lead by example; demonstrate proven strong work ethic
