J/PR IS HIRING -We are looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our global agency and award-winning team based in Victoria. Some experience in travel ideal, as is an understanding of the travel media marketplace, including influencers.

The Role:
Applicants must be creative, proactive, eager to learn, highly organised, have strong communication skills and passionate about travel and lifestyle PR. As the Junior Account Executive, you are a crucial part of the JPR Public Relations team, drafting pitches and press releases, building media lists, responding to incoming media, proactive pitching in addition to reporting and admin support. A can-do attitude, and ability to work in a small but fast paced environment is key. Attention to detail is vital as this position is the main administrative support on the team

Main Accountablities:
- Managing reports and coordinating client coverage
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparation of meeting agendas and drafting of meeting notes/reports.
- Write and distribute materials including pitches, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters
- Develop pitches and work with targeted media on story development
- Handle media requests
- Create and maintain media lists
- Research projects, identifying industry trends and insights
- Media form creation for journalist press trips and itineraries
- Assist with media events
Recommended Background:
- Travel PR experience preferable
- Some knowledge of media relations from key trade publications to national outlets
- University degree
