The Account Executive is someone excellent at project management, self-starter that knows how to take initiative, will have worked within an agency setting or in-house for a beauty brand, is an expert at pitching with a history of strong press placements, has great industry contacts and can manage multiple accounts. Proficient writing, editing and content strategy and development expertise, including experience crafting bylines, blog posts, media pitches, video scripts, newsletters, abstracts, executive bios and briefing sheets. Ability to work concurrently across multiple, diverse projects; skilled at prioritizing workload and deliverables to meet client and team deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure completion of assignments in an accurate and timely manner.

This role is perfect for a creative storyteller with a willing spirit that thrives in achievement. This team member, while supported by an Account Coordinator, will interact with staff, clientele, and all external contacts in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

Must love and be highly tapped into the beauty, grooming, wellness and lifestyle industries in which this position centrally operates. Experience in social media is a plus.


Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall client strategies:

· Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall client strategies

· Develop and implement social engagement and content creation

· Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure placements

· Execute and advise on Public Relations and Influencer strategies; collaboratively develop strategic media plans

· Write and edit media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, pitches, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgrounders

· Develop PR-specific marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for each client

· Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss media relations. Track and report ROI for each campaign

· Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure placements including managing paid influencer programs

· Look for and secure speaking and sponsorship opportunities for clients as experts in their field

· Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.

· Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff; manage daily intern responsibilities.

Participate in Professional Development opportunities:

· Build relationships with industry experts

· Brainstorming with the team on new ideas


· B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field.

· 3-5 years in PR agency experience

· Ability/experience overseeing managing several accounts at the same time while interacting with the team

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and PowerPoint,

· Demonstrates strong graphic design and editing skills
