PURPLE is seeking a hospitality Account Manager to join the agency’s largest client, EDITION Hotels, a new generation of luxury from Ian Schrager x Marriott. This role will serve on the EDITION Brand and individual properties around the world as a project manager of sorts, tracking and managing deliverables and teams to ensure timely and creative implementation of PR campaigns and outstanding results.
The right candidate will be a hotel junkie with experience in the luxury hospitality sector, ideating and implementing integrated campaigns that span earned media, programming and events. As a central figure on this global account, incredible organization and management skills are a must as well as a solid grasp on current trends and what/who is culturally relevant. The role is client facing.
Create tracking process for all activity across EDITION Brand and individual properties
Establish internal comms between the global PURPLE team working on EDITION
Attend all status update calls with brand and individual hotels
Ensure accountability internally for exceptional and timely results
Identify any areas of concern and present solution focused opportunities
Communicate regularly with senior leadership on the status of the account and productivity
4-5 years experience working within the hospitality sector
Strategic, creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated and ambitious
Experience on a global account with a large team
Personal interested in staying on top of the latest and greatest in the worlds of culture and hospitality
