Specific Job Responsibilities:
Manage day to day client activity
Assist with strategic PR and marketing programs for clients
Develop/maintain strong relationships with key media and other key influencers
Write compelling content for PR materials, including creative pitch plans and identify unique story angles
Secure consistent and quality media placements
Proactively pitch media on daily basis
Manage daily administrative activities (meeting agendas, notes, and reports)
Develop and participate in new business proposal writing and pitches
Work successfully in a fast paced, high-energy environment
Manage and mentor team members and other PR/Marketing resources and partners
Domestic/International travel
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
3-5 years in public relations/marketing (Agency and hotel/travel/tourism experience preferred)
Proven track record of success at Agency or Company
Experience managing other team members such as AAE’s, AC’s, interns or freelancers
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Strong network of established media contacts
Superb client management skills
Excellent organizational skills, proactive, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment
Team oriented and ability to take the lead on relevant projects
Resourceful and well-connected
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, Cision, etc.
