BASIC FUNCTION:

As the world leader in luxury home furnishing trimmings, Samuel & Sons is depended upon by residential and commercial interior designers to fulfill their creative vision to add elegance and sophistication to all their clients' spaces. Reporting to our Marketing Director and working closely with our Creative team, the full-time Digital Marketing and Communications Manager extends our luxury brand into all relevant social media channels and customer communications, and is responsible for content planning, brand copywriting, repurposing, rewriting, and project management. Your aim will be to build more followers and engage in an authentic way with customers and prospects, and use your creativity and problem-solving skills to deliver within specific timelines. Your passion to translate beautiful home furnishing design into relevant digital content will create memorable online customer engagement that inspires sharing and hunger for more.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:·        Act as a steward of the brand by ensuring continuity throughout social and digital marketing communications ·        Optimize brand on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms for target audiences, particularly residential and hospitality interior designers·        Lead and execute channel operations: content planning and community management across emerging social platforms with a strong focus on Instagram·        Drive engagement within the high end home furnishings category in an authentic way through relevant social media editorial and marketing content·        Under the Marketing Director’s direction, drive social strategy and support external PR agencies and partners and analyze effective benchmarks to measure impact of social media efforts·        Manage social content calendar and digital marketing communications, including creation, curation and sourcing content from Creative team to support all new collections, product launches, industry events where company is involved, and other campaigns·        Help drive digital marketing strategy through a keen understanding of data, KPIs and analytics reporting·        Respond quickly and professionally to social channel engagements on all platforms, acting as an extension of Client Services·        Manage photography rights permissions·        Engage SEO tactics to make content easier to find by target audiences·        Collaborate with the Web, Sales, Creative and Product Development teams on a consistent basis to translate key moments into digital content·        Utilize analytics to provide weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports including insights that inform future actions, platform trends and competitive listening·        Other duties or special projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:·        4+ years experience in social media management·        Proven proficiency in managing brand-led social channels while driving audience growth and engagement·        Demonstrated curiosity to stay current on platform trends, build new skills in related areas (e.g., gain proficiency in new online technologies)·        Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to succinctly rewrite longer-form material into engaging copy in suitable formats for each online channel and company blog·        Extensive experience with Social Media Management Systems and Social Listening / Analytics tools (Listen First, Social Bakers, Sprinklr, Sprout, Rival IQ, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite or similar)·        Knowledge of Adobe CS and related image processing software for the Web·        Demonstrated analytical skills to measure and track digital engagement, campaign success and KPIs·        Demonstrated qualitative research skills, including the ability to interpret social insights and data and translate them into actionable business results.·        Exceptional time and project management skills to deliver reliably on deadline·        Ability to manage up and communicate effectively on project progress·        Flexible and positive attitude, highly organized, strong attention to detail and agile·        Self-starter with the ability to work independently while ideating and executing efficiently·        Social media experience with luxury goods, interior design, or related products is a plus·        Has proper work authorization to work in the United States
