The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures furthers the understanding, celebration, and preservation of cinema through inclusive and accessible exhibitions, screenings, programs, initiatives, and collections. Reporting to the Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Senior Coordinator position is an outstanding opportunity for an entry-level professional to serve an important role at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. You will maximize the effectiveness of the Corporate Partnerships team by providing administrative support as well as project assistance and coordination.
You Will:
-Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining files, tracking deadlines, submitting expense reports, processing invoices, etc.
-Help develop systems to ensure such tasks are complete and efficient.
-Handle tour and meeting preparations and greet visitors upon arrival.
-Coordinate activities and resources for the Corporate Partnerships team and communicate with multiple internal departments.
-Conduct corporate prospect and industry research.
-Work on corporate partnership decks, proposals, presentations, and other materials for prospects and existing partners.
-Assist with event planning and activations related to Corporate Partnerships and Membership.
-Help with data entry relating to corporate prospects and partners.
-Send out mailings, packages, FedEx, etc.
-Create Corporate Partnership how-to documentation.
-Provide basic training to newer team members.
-Fundraising support and special event support.
-A bachelor's degree preferred.
-1+ years of direct experience in Institutional Giving, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, or Business Development or 2+ years in an administrative role.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
-Understanding of theory and application in using a relational database.
-Knowledge of fundraising principles, museum operations, graphic design, and/or film a plus.
-Experience communicating effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing.
-A keen eye to detail and accuracy in recording, tracking, and issuing information.
-Demonstrated experience self-managing and being productive.
-Flexibility to work extended hours, early mornings, nights, and weekends.
