We have a fantastic opportunity for a PR Account Manager, Hospitality to join our fast-growing Lifestyle team in LosAngeles. Purple’s Hospitality clients span hotels, wine/spirits, restaurants, and bars. Candidates must have prior experience in this sector, established media contacts and a track record of successful media campaigns. The Account Manager is a main point of contact for clients and must be confident, well-spoken and adept at navigating strategies, deliverables and managing junior team assignments and results. Experience with events, programming/partnerships is also extremely welcomed. We are a dynamic, fun team and our clients are too! Responsibilities
With senior staff, create strategies and plans for clients
Draft effective press materials and pitches
Secure consistent top-tier earned media results
Brainstorm creative ideas and generate publicity strategies to enhance PR campaigns, going beyond the role of the press office
Oversee campaign elements including press mailers, in person events (Covid permitting), media experiences and press trips
Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
Manage junior team members while acting as a mentor
Have strong connections with leading and emerging Hospitality and Spirits media contacts
4-5 years experience working within the hospitality/spirits sector
Strategic, creative thinker with excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and ambitious
Experienceas day-to-day client point of contact
Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Personally interested in staying on top of the latest and greatest in the worlds of culture and hospitality
