Black Flower Agency, a NYC-based experiential marketing and events agency, a key United States business unit of a global company based in Geneva, Switzerland is seeking a highly organized, energetic and hospitality experienced self-starting candidate with a strong understanding of marketing, events, and the luxury lifestyle sector to serve as an Assistant Account Executive.
This entry-level position is on a team that delivers on a loyalty marketing program that provides exclusive premium experiences to the brand's most VIP consumers. The global collection of experiences - from sports and entertainment, to fashion, wellness, and adventure travel - are promoted to consumers by way of a variety of BTL marketing from countries around the world.
Primary Job Duties:
Provide day-to-day support (event/administrative) to internal team as needed, including but not limited to crafting meeting agendas and recap notes, client reports, daily event sales tracking, weekly status reports, agency newsletters, and deliverables trackers;
Participate on client conference calls and in-person client meetings;
Support on event related responsibilities including but not limited to: research, logistics, planning, vendor sourcing and outreach, proposal development, training material development, ticketing setups, registration materials, event informational material, guest list management, post event reporting, event collateral production;
Oversee overall organization of supply inventory, shipping, packing, and management of event supplies;
Support with onsite event management as needed;
Responsible for event recaps and ensuring all relevant metrics and data are captured;
Work with event managers on marketing submissions through the entire approval process with the understanding of client and local market rules and regulations for legal compliance and creative governance;
Assist with basic financial processes including coding expenses, submitting invoices, and tracking payments;
Monitor industry trends and innovations, and competitive landscape;
Maintain knowledge of agency structure and functions, utilizing resources appropriately and efficiently;
Build full knowledge of agency's offerings, mission and vision;
Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or other related concentration is highly preferred;
A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience is preferred. Strong internship experience will be considered;
Ability to travel and work nights and weekends, as needed;
Solid communication skills - written and verbal;
Keen eye for detail combined with passion to guarantee accuracy and quality for all work submitted and published;
Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business;
Extremely organized and thorough;
Strong computer skills; MAC proficient, Microsoft Office, Basic Photoshop skills preferred;
Reading-level proficiency in other languages a plus.
