The Brandman Agency is looking for a highly motivated, social media-loving Social Media Intern. The Social Media Intern will assist our digital team in helping drive awareness, engagement and overall success for our clients across various social media platforms. They will be given projects and tasks to execute both on their own and also in a collaborative manner. The individual will be expected to bring interesting ideas to the table and help inspire future content and campaigns. This position will be remote. Since the position is unpaid, we are willing to work with students on obtaining school credit and are flexible with scheduling should candidates need to balance part time jobs or additional classes.


-Brainstorms campaign and content ideas

-Assist in the creation of monthly social media content calendars and ad hoc content needs

-Schedule social media posts using our content scheduling tool

-Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, tracking conversation and content performance trends

-Execute daily community management across platforms

-Ensure brand messaging and voice for each client is upheld throughout content and conversation

-Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and formulate insights and recommendations

-Research travel and hospitality industry-related topics and trends


The following skills are not required but highly valued:

-In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and emerging social platforms

-Experience editing or writing social-first contentInterest in hospitality and tourism

-Creative, but also passionate about reporting and insights

-Comfortable working with diverse brands and quick to pivot strategy and voice, based on client

-Comfortable learning and working in a remote setting
