Description:

The Social Media / Digital Marketing Manager is an entrepreneurial self-starter with impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, a proven track record in social media / digital marketing, and a desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.  The Manager works closely with the Leadership team to develop and execute programs for clients, provides regular ongoing counsel to clients and Agency staff regarding Digital Marketing including keeping all apprised of latest developments and how these may / should benefit clients and Agency, and works within team to deliver exceptional service and impactful results. 

The Social Media / Digital Marketing Manager must have a solid understanding of the Digital space and opportunities appropriate for clients and Agency, have the ability to answer any general questions immediately and unprompted, keep team and clients posted on latest trends, developments and opportunities, have the ability to identify and build contacts across the industries key to the Agency and clients, and be an expert on Digital Marketing practice. The Manager must be able to provide strategy and guidance to clients and Agency staff with regard to Digital best practice, and lead content planning for clients and Agency within all appropriate strategic, creative and legal guidelines. 

Specific Responsibilities

Strategy

- Develop digital strategy for clients – inclusive of Social Media, Community Management, Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing and Paid Digital as appropriate Lead creative / strategic digital planning for clients inclusive of programs, strategic partnerships and influencer campaigns

- Lead strategy for digital communications pillars and implementation

Execution

- Lead content planning, community management, and other areas of digital marketing for assigned clients

- Develop and present client-facing materials to showcase, monitor and evaluate objectives, strategy, tactical plan, budget, and results (including analytics)

- Manage and report overall budget for all digital programs and campaigns, understand how digital budget fits within overall brand budget, and communicate with client as required to ensure client is aware how funds are being deployed / obtain approvals as required

Leadership / Management

- Continually develop and maintain relationships with appropriate influencers and organizations on behalf of clients and

- Agency Proactively identify and monitor best practice tools for delivering exceptional results in the digital space

- Proactively seek out opportunities to help grow the Agency, through new business opportunities, sharing best practice, and / or other opportunities as agreed with Leadership

Client Management

- Serve as contact for clients as assigned Anticipate clients’ strategic needs – long and short term Proactively offer value-add counsel to clients Plan and lead strategic client meetings

Requirements:

Education and Experience Required

- BA/BS Degree is required

- Minimum 4 years experience on either the agency or client side, with demonstrated success across all channels

- Solid understanding of Digital space, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and influencer marketing and how to leverage for a comprehensive and integrated marketing program

- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and verbal and written communications skills

- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to create professional content for use on agency and client social platforms as appropriate to platform

- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, Creative Cloud, Illustrator, and social media monitoring tools
