Emily P. Wheeler Jewelry, based on the west side of Los Angeles, is seeking an independent contractor for production and marketing, approximately [15-30] hours per week. The title and role is flexible and can be tailored to your interests and strengths.
Potential responsibilities include production management, social media content creation and management, marketing, and website management. The position will include administrative tasks including packaging and shipping, inventory management, jewelry cleaning, moving product between the studio and LA factory, studio organization, etc. You will also have the opportunity to learn from Emily about jewelry design and construction, collection development, and how to build a brand and business.
This is a part-time independent contractor position with hourly compensation and flexible hours with partial work-from-home benefits.
- Bachelor’s Degree and high school diploma
- Relevant job experience
- Interest in fashion and jewelry
- Extremely responsible and organized
- Drivers license and available car
- The ability to travel with the company a few times a year within the United States
- Experience with photography, social media, marketing, Mailchimp, and Squarespace will be helpful
