As an Account Executive you will be responsible for fostering relationships across traditional and digital publications and networks as well as building out/executing media strategies that encompass: events, brand campaigns, monthly initiatives and editorial placements. This position, reporting directly to the President, will manage all client media needs, with a strong emphasis on traditional and non-traditional PR. In addition, the role includes the involvement and management of all digital media marketing and community influencer programming on behalf of clients.

Overview of Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

PR & Communications:

-Provide public relations and communications expertise to support all client events, programs and general awareness

-Manage and execute press events

-Maintain updates for clients through weekly or monthly meetings, agendas, recaps, reports and/or calls

-Write and distribute media pitches, news releases, press release and media kits

-Maintain strong relationships with regional media, as well as a working knowledge of the local media landscape and its ongoing changes

-Act as primary contact to South Florida media

-Develop compelling story angles and secure placements with key media to garner awareness of upcoming events, programs and general awareness

-Work with top-tier lifestyle and entertainment media on a local and national scale including proactive pitching and relationship management

-Draft written materials that clearly communicate client messaging and objectives

-Work with clients to develop PR programs and collaborate effectively with both internal team and clients

-Meet internal and external deadlines, paying specific attention to media deadlines in both long-lead and fast-breaking news outlets

-Stay abreast of trends, news cycles and South Florida arts & cultural landscape

-Ensure all agency media and opportunity lists remain current

-Implement PR tracking and metrics system to gather all media coverage (print, online, TV, Radio); ongoing analysis of results

-Manage and maintain press clips and evaluation reports

-Distribute press clippings to clients

-Proofread and edit a variety of materials, including but not limited to strategic deliverables such as proposals, presentations, press materials, blog posts and creative briefs, as well as creative materials such as advertisements, brochures, website content, etc.

-Utilize and ensure that proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation is used in all marketing content and communication while employing AP Style and/or Chicago Manual of Style guidelines

-Develop growth plan for agency owned social media platforms

General Duties May Entail:

-Assist in Gnazzo Group’s agency development and growth

-Responsible for assisting in executing a range of client events from large-scale productions to intimate events

-Contribute to the planning, development and implementation of all client account strategies, marketing communications, and event activities

-Assist with new business development and collateral by liaising with Lauren Gnazzo to manage all new business communications, create proposals, respond to client RFPs and update library of client case studies

-Implement blogger activation programs and social media campaigns that drive results

-Oversee the social media team to ensure company platform’s audience growth, heightened brand awareness in the Miami market and mention key clients through visuals and links

-Conceptualize local promotions and support materials consistent with brand strategy and equity guidelines

-Maintain client and vendor relationships, managing all expectations to create strong and lasting partnerships

-Manage and create client and vendor contracts, track all invoicing and manage event related expenses

-Generate additional office collateral as needed

-Ensure all projects are completed thoroughly and presented to the in a “client – ready” manner

-Oversee and manage general administrative duties, or other means or methods as needed – ordering of supplies, intern schedules

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in PR, Communications and Marketing

-Minimum of 2 - 4 years relevant PR experience, including brand strategy, programming, planning and execution

-Ability to work independently and complete projects under minimal supervision

-Highly organized and detail oriented

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and relevant social media platforms

-Extremely professional communication skills and demeanor

Additional:

-Bilingual a plus – Spanish preferred – but not required

-Involvement and visibility in social/charitable activities within the community

-Industry contacts with media, venues, production and catering companies a plus

-Knowledge of the South Florida area as well luxury brands across the world

Salary: Competitive

-Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
