TLA is a New York- and Paris-based communications agency with a global presence and portfolio of clients spanning the luxury design, architecture, lifestyle and creative industries.

The Social Media Intern will work closely with the full TLA team to support the agency’s social media presence, as well as select client social initiatives. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social strategy, content development, community engagement, and cultural storytelling within a fast-paced, highly collaborative agency environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of TLA’s social media strategy across Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with weekly social media management, including content research, scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
  • Keep abreast of relevant projects, events and media conversations to identify timely and relevant content opportunities.
  • Research and report back on trends, references, events, creators, and accounts that align with TLA’s point of view and client work.
  • Help develop creative concepts, captions, and copy for social content.
  • Assist with the development of Instagram Stories and other social content.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of social media calendars and content trackers.
  • Track social performance and assist with monthly and project-based reporting, identifying key insights and opportunities.
  • Monitor TLA and client social channels for relevant mentions, tags, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Support social media efforts surrounding client launches, events, activations, and cultural moments.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for growing TLA’s social presence and engagement.
  • Stay closely attuned to emerging social platforms, formats, and trends.
REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for social media and a strong understanding of how people, brands, and culture show up online.
  • Strong interest in design, architecture, art, fashion, hospitality, lifestyle, music, food, and/or broader culture.
  • An active and thoughtful social media presence with a strong eye for compelling content and storytelling.
  • Strong visual sensibility and an understanding of what makes content feel engaging, relevant, and distinctive.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to write in different voices and tones.

  • Excitement to work within a small, collaborative, and creatively driven team.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other content creation tools is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Benefits

  • Hands-on experience with social media, communications, and brand strategy.
  • Exposure to top-tier clients across design and architecture.
