Description:

Responsibilities:

Lead the Communications strategy for new business start-ups including the development of press materials, FAQs and live/virtual media and influencer activities

Work in an integrated manner with marketing colleagues to develop compelling written and visual content to be used across earned and owned media channels, with a firm understanding of key marketing principles

Use data and analytics to drive strategic communication strategies

Manage relationships with new and existing business partners

Bring a competitive-minded approach to a fast-moving growth space within the industry

Develop executive visibility plans and manage speaking / interview engagements for key executives

Work with GM Brand and Advanced Technology Communications teams to contribute to key GM corporate narratives including electrification, safety, and citizenship

Support major company events and news moments including media announcements, conferences and trade shows.

Demonstrate strong media relations and story-telling skills

Requirements:

BA in communications or related field. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
