The Senior Digital Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategy for client brands. The role requires an innovator who can connect digital to all other aspects of client business and drive growth opportunities. The Senior Digital Strategist collaborates with the account team to generate ideas that bridge web, mobile, creative, gaming, and digital media, etc., and provide solutions to multi-service clients based on consumer insight. This person answers key questions such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences. This person must have a love of the new, a passion for digital trends, and an understanding of consumers and brands.The Senior Digital Strategist, working with the account team, develops digital strategies for clients that form part of overall business strategies.  This person plans the approach to digital initiatives including website development, SEO, paid campaigns, search and online advertising campaigns and email marketing programs (CRM engagement), as well as making recommendations regarding emerging digital and new technologies. The Senior Digital Strategist closely partners with the entire Business Engagements team, account teams, and other partner agencies/vendors in media, etc. Reports to the Associate Director, Digital Strategy.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and deliver actionable insights that lead to improved business outcomes

-Evaluates consumer research, brand information, trends and relevant data in order to recommend digital touch points that marry brand goals with consumer needs and generate “big Ideas”

-Recommends, sources, leads and analyzes primary & secondary research, for instance

-Educate and inspire agency staff about best digital practices and emerging trends

-Ensures a strategic focus throughout the entire lifecycle of a project

-Provides a perspective on creative, functional, and technical direction of solutions for clients

-Partners with team members assigned to support measurement/analytics activity to provide insightful reporting.

-Leads and actively participates in client meetings and workshops including tactical planning, ecosystem planning, etc.

-Presents to both internal teams and clients

-Prepares meeting/workshop debriefs

-Prepares storyline and content of presentation decks (Current Clients as well as New Business)

Requirements:

-Bachelors of Arts/Science degree in marketing or technology

-Minimum of 4-6 years of digital/new media account service, and/or agency/marketing services-related experience

-Mastery of principles of digital strategy and planning. Experience with optimization media metrics and business analysis including sales analysis and performance analysis

-Strong communication, presentation and project management skills are a must, as well as, a demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
