About the Job
Director of Events, Experiential Marketing & Partnerships
IHC Agency, in partnership with Biohack-it Media Group
Full-time, remote, with regular international travel across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, particularly the UAE and wider Gulf.
USD 100,000 to 120,000 base, plus 10% of gross profit on sponsorship revenue you personally source. Reports to the Founder and CEO.
About Us
IHC Agency is an award-winning international PR, marketing and brand partnerships agency specialising in health, wellness and longevity, built on more than twenty years across three continents, with teams in Miami, London, New York and Dubai. We are a 2025 and 2024 Inc. Magazine Power Partner and a four-time PR Net Next Gen Award recipient, reaching over 20 million people a month across our roster.
Biohack-it Media Group is our sister media and experiences company, built around a top-ranked wellness podcast, a creator network bridging the Middle East and North American markets, and a portfolio of live experiences running from intimate supper clubs in Dubai, Miami, London and Austin, through international retreats, to large-format health summits including one we built from the ground up in Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030.
Both businesses are founder-led, fast-moving and genuinely ambitious about what happens next.
About the Role
This is not simply an events role.
We are looking for a senior integrated marketing, experiential and partnerships leader who can connect strategy, creativity, production and commercial performance across both businesses. The right person is as comfortable developing an integrated marketing strategy or a brand-to-brand partnership as they are walking a venue, negotiating with a vendor, building an event P&L or overseeing a 500-plus person summit.
You will own the function end to end, from business objective and creative concept through marketing, partnerships, sponsorship, production, audience acquisition, onsite delivery, and post-event commercial analysis. It is a Director-level leadership role, and it is hands-on: you will build strategy and systems while remaining willing to execute, acting as the connector between Marketing, PR, Social, Email, Sales, Partnerships, Growth, Creative, Finance, and Account Management.
Integrated Marketing and Go-to-Market
- Develop integrated go-to-market strategies connecting experiential, partnerships, PR, social, email, paid media, content and sales, translating business objectives into strategies with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Own the marketing plan for each event from announcement through registration, attendance, onsite amplification and post-event conversion, working across segmentation, positioning, messaging, ticketing and pricing.
- Monitor registration pacing and conversion, adjust when targets are missed, and turn physical experiences into content, media, lead generation and long-term brand assets.
Event Strategy, Experiential and Production
- Own Biohack-it's portfolio across supper clubs, retreats, workshops, masterclasses, panels, summits and conferences, plus IHC client programmes including brand activations, launches, press events, VIP dinners, pop-ups and conference booths.
- Build annual event calendars across markets based on brand fit, marketing objectives, sponsorship potential and profitability.
- Develop creative direction, mood boards, floor plans, guest journeys, run-of-shows and production schedules, and oversee activation design, fabrication, installation and breakdown.
- Source and negotiate venues internationally, and manage hotels, caterers, AV, production companies, fabricators, photographers, logistics and staffing partners.
- Build preferred-vendor networks across the UAE and Gulf, the US and the UK, alongside scalable SOPs and production frameworks.
Brand Partnerships, Sponsorship and Business Development
- Carry a defined sponsorship and partnership revenue target, and be accountable for the commercial result.
- Identify brand-to-brand partnerships that create value beyond traditional sponsorship, and build sponsorship products including tiered packages, annual programmes, rate cards and inventory.
- Move partners from one-off sponsorships into annual, multi-event relationships.
- Pitch, negotiate and close across wellness, longevity, health tech, beauty, hospitality, luxury and consumer sectors.
- Negotiate in-kind partnerships, gifting, product integrations and venue partnerships, and develop structures beyond flat fees including revenue share, commission and licensing.
- Build sponsorship proposals and activation plans, and oversee delivery so partners renew.
- Support IHC new-business pitches, and establish partnerships and experiential marketing as a scalable revenue-generating service line.
- Grow the Biohack-it community into a commercial asset through ticketing, membership, paid workshops and premium retreats, and curate guest lists that build relationships with founders, investors, clinicians and creators.
Creative Direction and Guest Experience
- Translate brand strategy into physical experiences people remember, photograph, share, and talk about, leading creative decisions across venue, styling, decor, lighting, signage, menus, guest flow, merchandise, and gifting.
- Ensure sponsor integrations feel elevated and additive rather than transactional, and own the guest journey from invitation through onsite to follow-up.
Commercial Ownership, Budgets and P&L
- Build and own event budgets from concept through reconciliation, and create financial models before approval covering revenue, sponsorship, ticketing, production costs, in-kind offsets and projected margin.
- Own event-level P&Ls and deliver against profitability targets.
- Report contribution margin, cost per attendee, sponsorship sell-through, ticket revenue and overall event profitability.
- Work with the VP Finance to forecast revenue and costs, and conduct post-event commercial analysis that improves future formats.
The core mindset: how do we make this exceptional, and how do we make it profitable?
Required Experience
- Eight or more years across integrated marketing, experiential marketing, events, partnerships, or brand marketing, with meaningful senior-level ownership.
- Demonstrable experience leading integrated marketing, not simply producing events, with a strong understanding of how PR, social, email, paid media, content, sales and experiential work together.
- Significant experience producing premium experiences from concept through execution, across summits, VIP experiences, retreats, brand activations, launches and pop-ups.
- A proven track record closing sponsorships or brand-to-brand collaborations, with demonstrated ownership of budgets and event P&Ls. You can discuss profitability, not simply attendance or aesthetics.
- Experience in luxury, premium hospitality, beauty, wellness or lifestyle environments, alongside the rigour of corporate, agency or global brand stakeholder management.
- Strong vendor, venue, production, negotiation and project-management skills, and experience working directly with founders, executives, VIPs, creators and high-profile talent.
- Self-directed, comfortable in a fast-moving founder-led environment, and genuinely excited to travel internationally.
Strongly Preferred
- Meaningful UAE or Gulf experience, ideally with existing local relationships.
- Existing brand, venue, hotel, hospitality, and production networks across premium sectors.
- Experience scaling an experiential or partnership platform across multiple cities or countries.
- Sponsorship sales experience against a defined revenue target.
- Strong deck and visual storytelling skills, and familiarity with modern project management, CRM, and AI tools.
Who You Are
You are a connector. You see how brands, people, audiences and opportunities fit together, and you can take a business objective and immediately think about the experience, the partners, the commercial model and the amplification around it.
You have taste, and you understand premium environments, but you are equally comfortable inside a spreadsheet. You can present a partnership strategy to a global brand, review an event P&L with Finance, negotiate a hotel contract and troubleshoot production onsite.
You think commercially, anticipate problems, and can zoom out to see the ecosystem while still noticing when the signage is wrong.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 90 days: ownership of the event calendar across both businesses, budgets and projected P&Ls rebuilt or validated, cross-functional workflows established, a defined sponsorship product built with tiers, inventory and rate cards, an active qualified pipeline opened, and vendor networks started in priority markets.
By twelve months: sponsorship revenue delivered against target, annual and multi-event partnerships established, positive contribution margin across the portfolio, measurable audience and repeat-attendance growth, formats that scale internationally, partnerships established as a revenue-generating service line for IHC, and documented systems that let new markets launch efficiently.
